AUDITION NOTICE (Paying roles)
Atlanta Dramatists and The Academy Theatre and Town Square Playhouse present:
Auditions for The Solidarity Project: A Celebration of Historical Nonviolent Resistance will take place on Saturday, January 31 at The Academy Theatre from 12pm to 5pm. Appointments are available but not required; those with appointments will be seen as close to their appointment time as possible, while walk-ins will be seen as time is available.
Seeking actors of all races, ethnicities, sizes, and genders.
All positions are paid (non-equity).
Please prepare a short monologue and be prepared to cold-read sides. If interested in a singing role, please prepare about 16 bars of a song (a capella). This is a festival of short plays; actors may be cast in multiple roles.
Performances will be in two locations. The first two weekends will be at The Academy Theatre in Hapeville (Atlanta), and then we bring the show to Town Square Playhouse in Fayetteville.
Tech week will start March 22 at The Academy Theatre; exact dates TBA.
Performance Dates:
At the Academy Theatre on March 28 and 29 and April 4 and 5
And
At Town Square Playhouse on April 17 and 18 (with probable tech days on April 10 and/or 11)
