He’s been part of the “theatre periphery” for the last 15 years because of his wife Kate, and continues to be a huge part of the cheering section for Atlanta’s theatrical community.  When he’s not working or otherwise involved in anything, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kate, daughter Kaylynn and their 2 “almost” dogs.
“I am thrilled and honored to have been asked to serve with this fine group of people and can’t wait to see what we can bring to the community!”

Charles Pillsbury III – Web Designer and Marketing Coordinator

nerd with glasses and a hat

Charles usually just describes himself as a “Standard Nerd”, but his nerdery includes: Being a founding member of Death By Puppets, a local Atlanta group of puppeteers (who perhaps have always focused on entertaining themselves more than the audience), building and designing theater sets for a number of educational and community theatres (usually the ones where his wife or kids are part of the shows), having run the website Wordtrip for writers from 2003 till Facebook destroyed the online specialized forum space, having been accepted to both the National Puppetry Conference at The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center and XPT at The Center for Puppetry Arts (and they swear it wasn’t a mistake), having been a volunteer for the puppetry track at Dragon*Con for over a decade, and probably a lot more general nonsense (and an overabundance of parenthetical asides in his writing and speech).

Alicia Pillsbury – Education Coordinator

Alicia Pillsbury has been a teacher, director, and homeschooling mom since 2000. She is married to Charles, a standard nerd, and they have four fantastically unique children: Piper, Ender, Julianna, and Oliver. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as a  Georgia state teaching certificate. She has taught drama classes and directed theatre for over 20 years. She currently teaches in elementary and middle school hybrid educational settings, and directs youth theatre productions locally.
